• Pastor

    Timothy Lee

Tim is a native of Biloxi, Mississippi, who grew up in a Christian home and trusted Christ for his salvation at the age of 12. He sensed the call to ministry and surrendered to that call in the spring of 1994 when he was serving as president of his college BSU. Since 1995 Tim has served on staff in several Mississippi churches, first in youth and education roles, and in senior pastor roles since 2002.

Tim was ordained to the gospel ministry in 1999 by Big Ridge Baptist Church in Biloxi, MS. Tim received his bachelor's from William Carey University in 1997 and his master's from New Orleans Seminary in 1999 and has since done additional graduate-level work. Tim served Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Columbus, MS, where he preached from June 2011 - April 2022.

Tim is blessed to be married to the former Denise Potter. Their blended family includes three college students and two spoiled rotten dogs. Tim enjoys walking, tennis, disc golf, basketball, board games, movies, video games, and reading.

  • Worship Director

    Denise Lee

Denise grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. She was only a year old when her family moved there as her father accepted a call to pastor. She was extremely blessed to grow up in a loving, Christian home where Christ and Biblical principles were consistently taught and modeled.

Denise received her degree in Music Education as well as her Masters in Education at Mississippi University for Women. She has directed choirs and led praise and worship teams since she was seventeen years old. She is married to Pastor Tim Lee, and together, they have three beautiful children all of whom are currently in college at Mississippi State University.

Denise loves to laugh and spread joy and cheer by sharing the love of Jesus. She enjoys family time, walking the dogs, sitting with friends by cozy campfires, playing in the snow, learning new instruments, meeting and talking with people, and trying new sports and games with two things in mind- either she will finally find one that she is good at or she will provide laughter and comic relief for nearby spectators. In her eyes, that’s a win/win situation.
